Fave places 2012: springtime in Victoria, BC Canada

Victoria - BC daffodilsGrowing up in British Columbia, the provincial capital of Victoria is the epitome of spring.

The spring flowers always push out of the earth first, the crocuses, tulips, daffodils and buds on the trees all making their appearance with Mother Nature’s encouragement.

This past year I was lucky enough to be in Victoria for those warm days of spring and the profusion of colourful spring flowers. And I must admit, it was glorious.

How could you not be anything but happy and joyful? I spent my time walking through the downtown, seeing the flowers, visiting the Royal BC Museum and exploring the country’s oldest Chinatown.

A treat for me and a definite must-do for any traveller.
