Tasting and sipping in Jordan Village ON

Niagara - Twenty Valley Wine FestOne of my favourite events of the Niagara Icewine Festival is definitely Twenty Valley Wine Fest in Jordan Village.

Located in the heart of the Niagara bench in Twenty Valley, this lovely little town hosts a fun weekend of tasting local wines, eating from local places and producers as well as hosting a few food trucks.

As the music played and the barrel rolling competition was held, hundreds of people happily meet, chat, sip and savour – and this year, it was unseasonably warm.

Usually the temperatures hover well below freezing, but this year it was a balmy 10C, which encouraged just as many people to participate, even if it did prevent some of the typical cold weather activities.

I kept on discovery of trying local vintages as well as discovering some tasty bites…
