Market distractions

Wandering the Castries market on the island of St. Lucia, it was a great day to spot the locals and to see what’s available:

Did I need fruit or vegetables?

I saw many delectable options – but sadly as a traveller, its not always possible to buy and taste everything you see. I should have bought some flowers – that at least would be something to display in my hotel room.

I didn’t buy any of these market offerings, but I snapped away, happy to see what was for sale and wishing there was a tasting market.

Alas, at least the scents of the market were free for the visitor – especially the lovely scent of these flowers:
