Whale, whales, whales!

Its hard to forget seeing the world’s largest mammal – the whale. There’s something quite magical about seeing such a large creature, and that it still thankfully exists in the oceans, despite the effects of man.

And although there are no guarantees in life, heading to Cape Breton’s Pleasant Bay is almost as good as it gets, thanks to pilot whales loving this area:

And its great to see one, and then all of a sudden there’s more than one – all curious to see who you are, as much as we are to see them:

And I was lucky enough to spot some tail – which has now become the gold ring of seeing these creatures:

But really, its about the reactions to seeing whales, that excitement that comes out of all of us, whether we’re young or old:
