Project 13 August

My month of August was spent in Toronto, benefitting from warm summer day, the bounty of produce at the local markets, some fun at the CNE and a trip down east – to Cape Breton Island.

My fave images this month include two of my closest friends at the CNE, a pile of Ontario produce from Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market and three photos from Cape Breton Island: the view of Baddeck Bay in the late afternoon, Mabel the eagle, a well-known creature of Baddeck and two pilot whales, spotted off-shore from Pleasant Bay, near Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

From busy downtown Toronto to the quiet wilds of Cape Breton Island, I got to test my skills with landscape, colour and the unpredictable action of Canadian wildlife.
