Travel memories – March 2014 in the British Virgin Islands

One of my favourite new discoveries of 2014 was exploring Tortola and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands:

For many travellers, the attraction is to explore The Baths National Park, a unique swimming area on Virgin Gorda:

Although the surf was rough among the rocks along the beach, swimming out into the ocean it was a calm sea, easy to snorkel and enjoy the gentle sway of the ocean currents.

But if you’re brave enough to hike through the rocks, its worth it to explore another beach and swim in even calmer and more turquoise water:

Many months ago, but I can still feel the warmth of the sun, the gentle touch of the water and the laid-back environment of beautiful Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.
